Today's update:
The cardiologist has decided dad needs a defibrillator to help his heart. They will do that on Monday.
His kidney tests are still very high...normal is 30 and his is 111...don't know exactly what the #'s mean only that they're too high! When they did the ultrasound yesterday looking for any blockages in his kidneys they found he only has ONE kidney! Said it was a birth defect. To think you live 77 years with only one and never knowing. Pretty good I guess! Most of you know he has one leg shorter than the other because he was born without a hip socket...I didn't ask if the "missing kidney" is on the same side or even has anything to do with it. Just both probably birth defects.
Despite everything he is feeling better. Better than he has for a very long time...the O2 has been a wonder in making him feel better because he can breathe!
Thank you for your continued prayers!
Blessings,
Julie
