The heart doctor came in today and talked with Dad and they will stop his Coumadin (blood thinner) so his blood won't be too thin and he will be NPO Sunday night. They will do blood tests early Monday and if all the test are OK, he will have the Defibrillator procedure Monday.
Please continue to pray for him, I know he was anxious and somewhat nervous, which I can't blame him. I am cooking another Turkey, this is 3 in a week! I will make sure he has plenty to eat tomorrow, I said everytime I know I am NPO, but for some reason it makes me want to eat and drink coffee until midnight! ;-) I made him some homemade no-salt salsa and he is requesting more even though I snuck him some extra last night when Mom wasn't looking!
He is doing very well with his new diet. I found some no-salt added tortilla chips at Rainbow Blossom and he like them. He just called wanting to know where his turkey leg was!
Please pray for my whole family, especially my Dad.
