What Could Be Better?

As I was listening to the Christian music channel today on the TV, from the other room I heard this song...and the words "what could be better"...as I listened I could not help but think NOTHING...could be better! The song says..."one day when I see Jesus face to face...what could be better". It reminded me that dad has had that "one day"...he has seen Jesus face to face!

The song goes on to say..."today is all we're given so we better start livin! It's WHO is waiting there I am living for!".

My prayer for each of you in 2009 is that we truly do live for the ONE who is waiting for us there in Heaven. That our desire is to one day see Jesus face to face just as those we love have gone on before and have already celebrated seeing Him face to face.

If you're "not sure" you will see Jesus face to face...don't let another year go by...don't let another day or moment go by. Be sure today! It's simple.

How to Receive Christ:

1. Admit your need. "I am a sinner." - Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. - Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

2. Be willing to turn from your sins (repent). - Acts 3:19 - Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.

3. Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the cross and rose from the grave. - Acts 16:31 - Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved. Romans 5:8 - But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

4. Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. (Receive Him as your Lord and Savior) - Romans 10:9 - If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

What to Pray:
Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as Lord and Savior. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
